Paint Ball with Girard

If you'd like to go play paint ball with His Excellency and a few other members of the barony, you'll want to show up at Girard and Guenievre's house at 9:00 on Saturday (the 7th) morning. We'll get into the minimum number of cars, then head out to Predator Paintball, near hillsboro (proably with a stop for a quick bite to eat first). $25 gets you rental equipment, field fees, air, and your first 200 paint balls. After that, we'll probably all just chip in and buy paint by the case then split it out. With snacks, chipping in for gas, and your fees, you should probably plan to spend about $50.

If you've never played before, you'll want to wear sturdy shoes, full length pants and selves, and consider a bandanna or something around your neck. If you have thin gloves, you might want to wear them as well. Contacts are better than eye glasses. Basically, at worst you should expect bruises from being hit that are no worse than you would expect playing SCA rapier.

The "paint" is a vegetable based ink type goo, and washes out of clothes really well. You're more likely to stain or damage your clothes from running around in the woods than from "paint." That said, bonus points for surplus BDU's - I love the smell of paint in the morning...
