The primary responsibility of the Chronicler is to ensure that local events calendars are kept up to date, and any event information needing to be published in the Acorn is delivered to the Kingdom Chronicler in a timely fashion.

The Chronicler also produces and distributes the Barony’s newsletter, called the Windlore. This newsletter is the SCA-official central information source for the group, and includes messages from the officers and the Baronage, important notices and updates, and more.

The Chronicler, like the other officers, reports to the Kingdom Chronicler on a quarterly basis.
